Hello. My name is Derek Flesner and I am in a career that is both rewarding and very interesting. I am an assistant manager for a pawn shop in Lincoln, NE. I have been in the business for a little over three years now and have not come close to seeing it all. There are so many things that being a pawnbroker entails that I like to think of it as being a Jack-of-all-trades. I am very concerned with the way pawn shops are viewed and have decided to take action on informing people of the truth, as well as having a little fun revealing the every day aspects of working at a pawn shop. Trust me, there are times that it gets very interesting. This is my first blog and the first month or so will be kind of a trial run for me.
